Truist Bank dispute help

Provisional-credit reversals and disputed recurring withdrawals.

Start with the account and the records

Keep temporary-credit entries, reversal notices, and the balance before and after each adjustment. For recurring withdrawals, separate the original payment authorization from later cancellation and stop-payment requests.

A denial does not automatically establish a legal violation. We consider the transaction, evidence, reporting history, and response together. Start with our EFTA guide or credit-card billing dispute guide as appropriate.

Arbitration and filing costs

Truist’s posted Bank Services Agreement, dated September 28, 2026, contains a mutual arbitration agreement with notice procedures and opt-out provisions. Save the version supplied for your account and any later amendments. A newly posted agreement should not be assumed to control every earlier dispute.

An arbitration clause is not a promise that every filing fee will be paid by the bank. Costs, forum rules, prerequisites, and any individual or mass-arbitration procedures require separate review. Truist Bank Services Agreement. Source checked October 3, 2026.
